HH Understands

Harborlight Homes grew from the housing mission of First Baptist Church in Beverly (FBC) started in 1964. With Harborlight House, Turtle Creek and Turtle Woods (Beverly) all in operation, FBC sought to strengthen this mission. In 2009, Harborlight was formed as the umbrella organization of these properties. Consequently, other smaller housing organizations, through merger, sought the financial and operational stability of Harborlight. These mergers ensured that hundreds of affordable family and senior housing units would remain available on the North Shore. An affordable housing developer and manager, the Harborlight portfolio includes Elder Housing, Supportive Housing, Family Housing, Individual Housing (including housing for the formerly homeless) and First Time Home Buyer opportunities across nine communities.

With several new housing opportunities in its development pipeline, Harborlight is constantly moving forward and it steadfast in its commitment to unlock paths to affordable housing creation throughout our region.

Harborlight Provides

Not just a housing provider, Harborlight is dedicated to the quality of life for all residents.  Toward this goal, Harborlight utilizes multiple partnerships to provide supportive services throughout its portfolio. This ensures elders are engaged and receive needed assistance, allowing them to age in place as long as possible.  Likewise, families and individuals are supported to sustain their housing and thrive. Harborlight is also dedicated to creating access to home ownership for first time home buyers below area median income seeking to enter the real estate market.
